A Day of Service
Saturday, September 11:
A list of opportunities will be available for our folks to serve in our local
community. We are hoping everyone will participate. Please check the
Anchor Room for sign-sup sheets.
START-UP!
September 12 at Bolding
Mill Park Pavillion: All Activities will be at the Park. Families
are welcome to use the camping facilities at the Park. Stay overnight on
Saturday if you wish. Sunday Service starts at 10:30 a.m. Bring your
own lawn chairs. Relax under the Pavilion and enjoy the service. No
breakfast that morning, but hot dogs and chips will be provided for lunch.
Bring a dessert to share. Donations of drinks are needed. Drop them
off at the church a week or two before Start Up and we will ice them down and
bring to the Park for everyone. FUN AND GAMES FOR ALL AFTER LUNCH.
We will have horseshoes, volleyball, and carpet ball tournaments. Get your
partner or family to sign up a team prior to Sunday. Please look in the
Anchor Room for sign-up sheets. Get your teams ready! The
Competition is on! New T-Shirts will be available for purchase this year.
Order sheets will be in the bulletin and by email. Shirts will be
distributed the weekend before Start Up so get your orders in now!
Care Package
LCC will be
sending a care package to Jill Riepe (missionary in Papua, New Guinea) for her
birthday. There is a sign-up sheet in the Anchor Room for anyone who would like
to donate items.
TEEN WORSHIP LIVE (TWL)
Our Sunday Night Teen Service, (TWL PM) will meet weekly beginning August
15th, from 5:30-7:30 at The Cove (Basement of Church Offices near highway).
Ladies Book Club
The LCC Ladies Book Club small group study will resume on August 4th at 6:15p.m.
Cindy Martin invites all ladies to "join us as we read and discuss Jesus
Among Other Gods by Ravi
Zacharias. Dr. Zacharias was born in India in 1946 and immigrated to Canada with
his family 20 years later. He lectures at major universities and is a strong
Christian & defender of the faith. You can order your book from rzim.org or amazon.com or half.com.
Please order your own book and have the first chapter read for discussion at the
first class.
Fellowship Hall
Drawings
The drawings for
the new Fellowship Hall are ready. See the bulletin board. A review of our
financial options will take place next. Our thanks to the Building Ministry

questions.
Nursery Needs
Our nursery is in need of some supplies. If you would like to help this
ministry, you may donate the following items: wipes, Clorox wipes, hand
sanitizer, batteries (C, AA), & infant snack puffs. Please deliver these items
to the nursery. Contact Ashley Simpson for any questions. Thank you!
It’s time to make a joyful noise!

interested in singing with the choir this Christmas. A practice schedule will be
